I think it won't be very good to join this contest with a gamebuino game, except if you don't about people voting or playing it, because none of them has a gamebuino. In this contest, it's best to join with a game that runs in your browser, i.e. either flash or html5, so everyone can play it and vote for it. Right? But if you want to do it just for fun, sure, give it a go. It's a nice motivation having a fixed theme and fixed development time with deadline.

I'm not a fan of time constraints, but my thoughts on this is that the game should probably have a link to this site along with a port to the Gamebuino.
Just my 2 cents

It's exactly about that. If I have the time, I'll just take the theme and the time frame, but I won't post anything to the site because nobody can play it. Maybe later when there is a Gamebuino emulator in html5.

Next
Ludum Dare will start next week-end (17-19th April).
I plan to code a game for the gamebuino this time (I used to code HTML5 games with Construct 2).
If more people join that gamejam, it could be great

Time is exactly my issue.
If I have that commodity available to myself, I could do some gfx to help.
I can´t currently promise.
I think it would be a nice scene for the gamebuino to pop in, specially from the users.
Those who don´t have one, can try it on Myndale´s emulator, which runs greatly.
Cheers guys, Let us know here on this thread how it goes and if a project is ongoing and what is its needs.

The theme of this new ludum dare is
An Unconventional Weapon.
I think I'll do a rhythm game... I just made a quick mockup before starting coding anything else... Now, it's 5:30AM: time to sleep!
