For those that don't find unboxing videos too boring here's one of me opening an early model sent to me by rodot along with some of my ramblings about buttons and hardware specs. Enjoy
Thank you for the video! I realized that I swapped the A & B buttons last week... sorry, I never had an handheld console before Gamebuino Could you take picture of a Gamebuino and Gameboy side by side ? I'm curious to see the difference of size.
Edit: There is no ICSP port because I use a pogo-clamp I made to burn bootloaders. The ICSP pins would be too long to fit under the acrylic case, and they would be dangerous for you left thumb as they are right next to the buttons. Yet I kept the standard 6-pin ICSP layout so you can solder a connector and use it if you want.
Ah! I was going to ask you about how you were planning to program them, I use an adapter I made with test probes that I insert into the holes and clamp on. Not as convenient as your clamp although it does let me program devices that don't have a standard ICSP header.
The img tag doesn't seem to support the width/height attributes so here's a link to a size comparison photo:
To show pictures, you should reduce their size (using paint for example) to something like 640x480px, for them to fit on the page. Then use the "upload attachment" button and place them in your post.
