buinomon open development

Talk about (almost) anything

I think main difference between a lot of the designs is the use of grey. Some people use it for shading and some people use it to show darker areas. Having tried both, I feel as though using grey for nothing but shading leaves the character looking a little bland. Using grey for colour adds character (in my opinion) and also gives one the chance to add some extra details.

This is a comparison to show the difference using the Buinó Biond. Feedback is appreciated.

Probably a guideline on images could be handy, but I would not worry for such since it is a crowd project.
Shade can also be done with dither.

Very rough concept design for "Phlarix" could be flying and or fire
*I do plan on making it to fit the pseudo 3D style of the other Buinómon

By request, I tweaked "Elmerni's" Design a little bit
although it was hard to improve on a very good original design i tried
Do you prefer the one with the more catlike nose, or the original nose?

I think you should do another poll, but just ask if "yes, this should be a buinomon" or "no, this shouldnt be a buinomon"

Upon reviewing the data, I will be redrawing shoktop. I did however intend him to be either dark or virus, I can make changes to see fit (or if a water is needed, that is also fine)
