LED specs

Does anyone know the specs for the indicator LEDs on the Gamebuino? I want to buy some more on DigiKey. A part number or just detailed specs would be great. Thanks!

You can use any 0806 LED, whichever color you want. For backlight you should prefer "super bright" LED.

Do you know of a place where I can easily order the right kind of LEDs (0806 SMD Diffuse LEDs) in a bunch of colors? I want to mod my gamebuino to have different colored indicator lights.

0805 LEDs actually, sorry for the typo. You can look for "0805 LED kit" on ebay, you should be able to find it for pretty cheap. They don't necessarily have to be diffuse (I don't think you could find any). White LEDs are not clear/transparent because in fact they are blue LEDs with a coating which absorbs blue to emit white.
