But yeah, I'll just plan out a Tetris right now. First I want to know what I should base it off of.
Should I base it off of the Nintendo NES Tetris, the Tengen NES Tetris, any modern Tetris clone, or something else (please give options)?

Just gonna barge into this topic and say this : while I like Tetris as much as anyone else, I think you might wanna take a stab at something similar to Tetris. Like Columns or something, there's plenty to base it off of. Heck, something like Pac-Attack, or make the bricks circles, or have Tetris with GRAVITY (aka : instant win edition)

How about I make a customizable gravity, rotation system, and a whole lot of other different features? I might also have a hold function (and maybe a ghost piece). There's a lot of stuff I have in my head about it.
