hey phi and wow those look great
i see u like a bit of depth in your games, wich is very cool
i realy like what i asume is a cthulhu inspired enemy (or maybe its a guy in fancy armor, need some lore to be sure
)
i was wondering if ur just showing of some concepts or are actualy planing to make these games?
wow phil, looking great. to me it looks like you love to add depth, that is a good appeal.
More game designs for runescape classic can be found here:
http://www.gaminghorror.net/runescape-c ... -playable/i want a design like that.

Thank you. Your thread was actually a bit of an inspiration to get started.
Right now those are just some mockups I threw together.
I will supposedly make one of these once I have the unit. For now I just want to share some ideas.
This is my first arduino project (I usually work in Ansi C, JS or Python) so we'll see how things work out

awesome, yea if u know any programing, this wont be a problem
i am considering doing a tutorial (video tutorial) going true instalation of the IDE's.
i do recomend looking at the example files and see how they work, not everyhing in there is final (mostly the image format changed recently) but u get a grasp on how it mostly works
keep up the good work, i love to see more

Both of your ideas look good, especially the dungeon crawler.
Maybe a party system, or even multiplayer(with each character controlled by a player, respectfully)?
You know, that's a good idea. Up to 3 players, If there are 2, then let there be a Robot/no extras.
On the racing game, there could be up to 4 players.

A part system for both the dungeon crawler and Super GP would be interesting. Maybe even a split-screen like party implementation for breakout would be interesting but probably less so than racing or dungeon crawling.

I'll piggy back on this thread and post this:
Mars Patrol (Moon Patrol clone)
I was thinking of exploring using gray pixels for shading, but since everything will be moving, I think that the borders of the ground pixels will be blurry-gray anyway because of screen remanence.

@Drakker
Wow - that looks really nice.
Not sure about the zigzag lines (mountains?) in the background tough.
They look a bit distracting. How about some buildings like the original version or a bigger starfield?
