Brawler-type game?

Postby regiseal » Tue Apr 22, 2014 2:35 am

Hi! I learned about the Gamebuino today, and it looks amazing. I'll probably buy one if I can produce the extra money. Anyway, I was wondering if it would be possible to have a brawler type game (think very simplified Super Smash Bros Brawl) on this console with multiplayer, powerups, cpu fighters, multiple characters, etc. I'll totally help make it if I get one! Also, one quick thing: Can you get the link cable for 2 gamebuinos without having to buy the 2 gamebuino package, because it doesn't say it comes with the 35 euro one person one. Thanks!!!

Welcome to the forum!
I guess you can make this type of game, after you get your Gamebuino. Just learn and start coding. I'm sure everyone will be willing to help.

With the limited memory you might be able to fit a couple of Mr. Game and Watch style characters with few frames. Definitely doable, but don't expect too much.

OMG I LOVE THAT IDEA!!!, and with a cable to connect two gamebuino to plait would be GREAT!!!. But I would find trouble fitting 2-4 characters into an 84x48 white-bray-black screen. But if I had more experience with C++ I would make a basic edition. I'm sure other people would do a better job than me anyway.
