Hey there, I was actually thinking about such a game. So i'm pretty happy someone thought to bring it to life.

Here is a suggestion of an art monster concept :

It would be called "Bagus", and be a normal type.

Good luck with your game !

The art section seems to be pretty empty recently, maybe its because we don't really have a goal? i think right now we should focus on redrawing the already submitted ones, solidifying the art style, before we make new ones.

here i just like to share the current tile map
now i know that gamebuino wont support tilemaps but its easy to create maps using tiled with this one

people who like to create same maps with this u can with tiled
here are the settings if u add a new tileset the size sude be 8x8px and keep the map max size under 64x64 tiles (preferably under 32x32 for inside buildings)
the map u draw will be like only a town or a route not an overworld

have fun and if u want to add any tiles plz post them and il see how we can add them
also for the moment there no guidelines on how a building sude look, thats why im asking you do be creative :D

Wow, very good job on those characters! 8x8 characters are hard to draw and tend to all look the same, and yet all of them look unique. That's some mad pixel work. =)

thx ;) i do feel there not all perfect (also there 8x10 just for that little added detail)
by all means have a shot at charecter design

im actualy not sure if we sude have multiple spritest for them to face all derections (takes more memory and might make charecters blend to much in background)
