Hey there,
to spread the Project to a large social community, a Facebook page would be a nice decision.
What about the Content for that FB-site?
- Posting Links to new board threads
- Show Pictutures from the Gamebuino
- Share News with the FB Community
- and more...
If you need help to manage the FB Community Site [English] I could support you.

Several people asked about a Facebook page... I'm not really fond of Facebook, but if you think it would be useful, why not. What do you guys think ? You prefer to follow a group on Facebook over a blog + email newsletter ?

Maybe the best Feature of a FB page is that
people can easily share cool news about Gamebuino with their Facebook Friends.

I'm not a fan of Facebook either. I'd rather check gamebuino.com now and then for new posts. I s'pose there's no harm in having an FB page though, as long as it's not a replacement for the forum and any blog posts.

In my opinion it's just a good possibility to get (more) traffic to the Website/board.

Twitter (and maybe facebook) is the key.

After the campaign there will be no way to order a Gamebuino for the time being (so building a fauxbuino is the only way to join the party).
There is no need to further advertise the system and besides that someone has to maintain all these social media accounts.
