Gamebuino I2C and grove are not the same size

Postby babadu83510 » Fri Apr 01, 2016 3:05 pm

Hello this page http://gamebuino.com/ says that : "Gamebuino is compatible with any I2C module. You can find some of them from Seeed studio’s Grove system or Tinkerkit. They even have the right connector! Official Gamebuino modules should be available soon too." so I bought some grove seeed studio modules and cables and the connector is smaller than the gamebuino's one, there is too much space between the pins on the gamebuino :/

Is it normal or did I waste money ? I really want to use these modules and I thought they were compatible... Is there any way to fix this ? I don't want to break the gamebuino bending the pins :/

Oh okay thanks, I'm disappointed, I thought I could just connect the grove modules to the gamebuino since the page said the connectors were the same :x

And I believe seeed studio delivery time Is kind of long since they ship from china :o

Yes, for ordering from china you need a lot of patience :(
I found a local (say: German) reseller and ordered there.

Well no in fact it looks that it could connect on the top but the size is wrong so maybe your câbles could do the trick if they are not too big :o

OOh thanks so this guy is using some cable that looks like the one you told me to use ! I'll definitely get some !
Found a reseller here in france : http://boutique.semageek.com/fr/311-5x- ... melle.html
Shipping fees are kind of high (6.5 euros) but I think it's worth it !
