GambiPaint, a paint editor

Postby Trist06 » Mon Jul 20, 2015 1:08 pm

Hi guys,

I dont have my Gamebuino yet so I programmed this on the emulator instead.
Also this is my first program on any micro controller, im more used to big pcs, linux and windoze, and a few ARMs...

anyway, the prog supports painting 24x24 black and white paintings. You can draw AND erase, choose 4 different brush sizes and also clear, fill or invert the canvas. Also you can save your painting to the eeprom and load it again.
Im planning on adding support to export to the sd card as .bmp but the emulator dosent support writing to sd so ill have to wait till I get a Gamebuino.

So heres the link to Git : https://github.com/Trist06Git/GambiPaint/archive/master.zip

Also, constructive criticism welcome.

This is some quite nice idea! Perhaps you could add gray support?

Yesssss, my gamebuino just arrived in the mail.
Next thing im going to work on is exporting to SD as a .bmp
I think ill then look into adding grey colour.
Also I didnt realise how the cursor would look on the real screen so i think ill make it a big mouse arrow.

any other ideas?

Hi guys,

So I just finished exams :-D yaaay, free time.
Any way, heres a quick small update.
It adds 4 more cursor pointers and the ability to change between them.
Also you can now choose to make the pointer "step" one pixel by one pixel.
These features are useful for when your trying to draw small details.

and yer, ill try and get onto sd card saving tomorrow.

Edit: also the update is on git so just redownload from the same link above.
