Hello all
I would like to ask the games developers on the Gamebuino community an open question about how you feel about ports of your open-source games to another open-source console.
The reason for my question is this:
I have been approached by several people with regards to my upcoming game console Pokitto.
My original plan was to just port all the open-source games (they're open source right?) as monochrome to run on the Pokitto.
But: the people I have been talking to are game makers of these communities, have told me in no uncertain words that I should politely ask how the community feels about this. This question is because they feel that I should bring it up. I will also do the same on Arduboy forums.
So: if you suddenly see your open-source game appearing on an another console with FULL CREDITS and SOURCE on a new platform, will you be annoyed or pleased? EDIT: let me rephrase that. How would you like us to handle this question in a way that will make you happy?

I don't know if my games meet the quality requirements :p but as long as you respect the license which should be GPLv3 I would be happy

I will absolutely respect all licenses used by original authors.

This is why you should always add licences to your games
Anyhow, mine are just ports anyways, so yeah >.>

Not that I have ever finished any game, but I'd be happy to see my stuff ported to the Pokito, actually, I'd be happy to do it myself if I could get my grubby paws on one.

The ones I coded are already clones of existing games. Concerning the code I think I haven't added a licence yet, but I planned to use a GPL or so. So you can use the code and make modifications as soon as you distribute it.
