For problems with Gamebuino itself, NOT your project

Darn it... I pulled out my Gamebuino and i noticed a portion of the back case was broken off. Do you offer repair services for the acrylic case? (If you do, you think you can send me another knapsack as well?)

Best wait for Rodot´s answer but the SHOP link up there points to the store that can sell you a new case, and the color ones are a blast.
check:
http://gamebuino.com/shop/en/home/4-color-case.htmlI have been tempted to buy a few stuff, a more personalized button caps would be cool, but I struggle to alter the gamebuino´s original form...even the paper protection.

The schematics are free, you could build one too or carve out of wood.

I was thinking about.. If i buy a 3D printer (I have my sights set for the Printrbot Simple Metal), I could print stuff like this, and even customize it with embossed logos and stuff (like the tittle of my game, if I can make one that does something besides be buggy
).

Don´t wanna spend money on a case but a printer is fine?
What I meant up there is that from the schematics, you can carve in wood your own cover, you don´t need hardcore tools for that, you can do manually, other materials may also apply. It can bring a very strong personalized feel to it that way.
Heck, I guess you could even do your own hard cardboard case that later painted with proper stuff could make it last a couple years.

Hello there,
Was the case broken during shipping ? If it's the case (no pun intended), accept my apologies, and contact me through the online shop so I have access to your address to send you a new one.
Well if you broke it yourself, you can either lie and tell me it was broken during transport (hem), buy a color one from the online shop, or make one yourself out of wood, cardboard, PCB, plastic, stainless steel or whatever. I can upload a PDF/DXF version of the case outline so your cast print it and use it as a template if you want.
If you have 3D printer, instead of just embossing logo, you can make a nice, round and comfortable case. Like I did on the early prototypes of the Gamebuino :

Cool photos! You should archive photos like this on the wiki or something Rodot, it'd be interesting to see how the design evolved from concept through to completion.

Hey, I just uploaded the case outline on the
Hardware page of the Wiki
Heya Myndale, good idea, why not. Some of the prototypes are really shame though as I didn't have much experience yet
