Odd game files and names on SD card loader

I was loading games that I downloaded from the computer on Mac OSX 10.6.8 with the SD to USB adapter, looked fine on the computer, but when I loaded it on Gamebuino, the names were distorted and came with jumbled HEX files that, when opened, made the Gamebuino restart the loader. Help? Thanks!

That usually happens if the filenames don't follow the 8.3 standard (All caps and ascii only), you can try the new loader, though: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=3073&start=60#p9365
