For problems with Gamebuino itself, NOT your project

Dear Sutchig, I just realised that you may have trouble charging your Gamebuino after removing the USB socket!, so I attach some pictures of my solution (modified 18650 battery housing so they run parallel).. it's hardly lost any voltage after days of use! Whilst this may seem a bit cumbersome, it does work well for my purposes.

many thanks for your advice and the photos. I still hope to get that fixed by soldering the connector in the right position
Or to charge it via I2C or something. But your way is a good option if nothing works.

Uau, those pictures are funky, while not a fan of the more usual batteries, I have to say it looks interesting.

Hi,
after looking at the soldering pins for a couple of weeks i decided to not finally brick my gamebuino and ordered a new one. I may try your solution with the battery holder
