[SOLVED]Problems with selecting the board

When I try to select the gamebuino board it wont show up, can someone please tell me why? I am running Windows 8.

Did you install Arduino using the official installer? Did you properly install the drivers? Did you try to connect your Gamebuino with a different USB cable? In a different computer?

I did install the official installer and I did install the drivers and I did try different USB cable, but I did not try another computer because I dont have another computer :/ so if you have any other suggestions please do help

What appears in the device manager when you plug your Gamebuino in? Do anybody use Windows 8, I'm sorry but I can't really help here.

It's ok I just fixed the problem! So no need to worry anymore

I am having the same problem and I am on Windows 7. How did you end up fixing it?
