I had similar problems after removing the bar at the top below the front plate which keeps the screen in place.

It's somewhat visible near the top. There's a better image around but I couldn't find it. If you didn't remove the bar you could try padding it or clean the contacts with alcohol (though this seems to be more of a issue with space rather than dust getting in.)

the 3rd plastic pice u got that is part of the case is meant hold ur screen in place and add some presure to it, it might be that its pressed to hard or to little.
the dark color on the bottem is a bit of liquid crystal that bleedes true on another layer might have happend by heat or transportation.
if any of the recomended help didt work for long term consider replacing the screen, my recomendation is ebay to get somting cheap since qualety is going to be the same anywhere u go with these, sorry that ur going to have to solder it to fix it
