[Solved]What are some ways I can easily create bitmaps?

I want to create sprites fast and efficiently, but going pixel by pixel seems to be neither. Any suggestions? I want to create some large maps e.g backdrops, buildings, ect. T.I.A

Did you try the bitmap encoder ? You can find it on the download page
