Mmh, you can make it say "yes", "no", "maybe" depending on the EMF levels, so it could be considered as a way to communicate with ghosts

Well, If you want to do the code, you could get a gamebuino to do most of the same stuff any other paranormal gizmo does. It can play sound, get an I2c thermometer for one port, and a Software defined radio for the other... You could program it to do just about any sort of experement you want.
