For problems with Gamebuino itself, NOT your project

Hello,
I got your message, thanks.
I will look into that "mail delivery failed" issue. It might come from the shop that tries to send me an email to
noreply@gamebuino.com from your email address.

Good to hear! I came from a defective FT232RL chip, I changed it and the problem was gone. I made sure that all the FTDI chips are sourced from official sources like mouser or digikey to avoid counterfeit/defective units so it shouldn't happen again.

Hi,
I have a similar problem, my computer won't recognise my gamebuino.
The led light that says the gamebuino is charging is on, so is the power led.
So it's not the same problem.
Any ideas?
Thanks !

Hey,
Did you check the
Driver confusion topic? Do you have a PID of 0000 in the device's properties ?

Sorry for the late reply
It's a PID
I'm now reading throug the driver confusion topic, I hope that will solve it.
Thanks

It didn't solve my problem...
I didn't even manage to instal octopus box.
I don't have a tab 'other devices' with 'FT232R USB UART' or something similar in it. So I'm stuck at the first step..

Why do you say it doesn't recognize your Gamebuino, as it correctly shows "COM3" ? Aren't you allowed to select in the Arduino IDE ?

Never mind me.
I didn't know I could only access the gambuino through the Arduino software.
I thougt it would work like a usb drive.
Problem solved
Sorry for your time
And thanks!
