Wanna travel through time in a car that's got style? Play Project88, reach 88 mph, charge your flux convector and travel through 1885, 1985 and 2015 (you know, this time when cars fly!). But don't run out of gas!
Enjoy the smooth full-res 40fps animation while you ride through the 3 levels... Or are there 4 of them?
I couldn't make screenshots because I have bypassed the SDK for graphics, but you can find a recording of version 1.0 here: https://youtu.be/byOCPLWnzmU
Update: here we are, version 1.4 is ready (and stable. Even more than 1.3! ):

hm, I have downloaded it to the SD card and I can't find it on my Gamebuino. directory and bin file have the same name and your icon and are on the card as well. The Loader (v1.2.1) doesn't show it, though. (I loaded another game and then back to the loader, did not help)...

This is the first game I upload, so I might have done a mistake somewhere. I'll investigate...

I've just tried :
Everything seems OK as far as I can tell. Maybe someone can give a try on another gamebuino?

Indeed, display is 160x128, which is why I cannot easily provide screenshots, and why the online emulator seems messed up.
I have just built on what was presented here by aoneill: https://gamebuino.com/creations/high-resolution-without-gb-display
I can get into more details if you wish :-)
One last piece of information: I had to compile the binary with -O3 optimizations and remove the -g flag to be able reach this goal.

Here is version 1.0!
I've made all the fixes I had in mind, and I am quite happy with the result. I don't plan any update unless something is really broken, and I'll dedicate my gamebuino time to other projects.
I hope you'll enjoy!

And I had been dreaming I'd make a video game. It's my first attempt, it has flaws, but I'm very proud, to be honest. Thanks :-)
