Apprendre à coder un jeu sur Gamebuino

L'idée est de vous montrer les étapes que je suis dans mon apprentissage en vous proposant une branche à chaque étape importante.Le jeu devrait au final s'inspirer de mon jeu préféré lorsque j'ai découvert la micro-informatique en 1985 avec un ZX Spectrum Plus.

Clonez puis sélectionnez la branche correspondant à l'étape recherchée.

  • Etape 1 :
  • Etape 2 :
    • utiliser une structure pour les information du joueur
    • utiliser le même buffer Image pour le mouvement gauche et droite
  • Etape 3 :
    • transformer la structure en classe
    • structurer le code dans plusieurs fichiers

It's a good start, Thierry! You begin with Image Transcoder, so it starts very well :-)

For your creation, you got screwed like most of us, I guess... You don't need to put the English / French texts on the same page. In fact, what is needed (with difficulty) to understand or notice is that, by default, the text of the creation is associated with the English version. Once the creation has been validated, you can go back to it to modify it, and you will see at the top a way to switch to the French version. You can then enter the text in French and validate it again.

This way, depending on your profile settings regarding language, when you land on the page, you will see the text in French or English.

This rule does not apply to discussion thread, however.... That is why it is better to focus on discussions in English if you want the international community to benefit from them.

But I agree with your point of view (discussed in another post) about the fact that texts in English are unlikely to be read and /or written by the youngest frenchies!

We are facing a dilemma....

This is not my company and forum, I'll follow the rules :)

In fact, I just copy/pasted the same text I wrote in the Readme.md file from my Github repo.
I want it to be usable with or without the website.

I'll come to it later, but I'm surprised by the very low resolution easily usable on Gamebuino.

I guess I'll have to learn to do pixel art but I don't think I will be able to reduce Jetpack to the size of normal resolution.

Let's see, the journey begins.

You're going to have to adapt the graphic assets to the low resolution of META!

Besides, I forgot to mention it in my previous post... but when you provide a URL associated with the Gamebuino website, do not forget to remove the "fr/" chunk:

Je ne sais pas encore comment tourner la chose mais le multi langue qui n'en est pas tout à fait un est assez confusing comme on dit :)

Au niveau des Créations, peut être indiquer 2 onglets au niveau de l'éditeur de description pour éviter de jongler à modifier/enregistrer en switchant.

Et pareil niveau forum associé, je ne comprend pas la logique : un seul forum lié à la version anglaise ? les 2 ?

Si j'ai une idée valable de UX je la donnerai parce que là c'est moyen pour tout le monde je pense.

In absolute terms, it works! But it is better to use the canonical URL.
And depending on your language settings, the URL is rewritten with the right path.

I understand your point, you're right.
But sometimes, I like to put a proper URL for the proper language: in the french description, I'll put french URL.

Even with the help of @Steph I couldn't find the issue with step 03.

I converted step 02 struct to a proper class.

The game start, but as soon as you move, it tries to change the frame and hang up with display showing the player among what looks like buffer garbage.

Anyone has an idea?
