Maker Faire all over Europe
We were at the Bilbao Maker Faire, Spain. We are just back from the Maker Faire Im Norden, Germany.
Next week, we'll go the Europe's largest Maker Faire: Rome, Italy! If you're around, stop by and challenge us at a game of pong on the META >:)

This game is ported from the Gamebuino Classic, but it already gives you an idea of what to expect. What would you do with these light effects? What games do you want? Tell us in the comments.

Will this always be the price? Because I can buy 2 gamebuino metas with a couple of games or i can buy a ps4 and play tons of AAA games online :/ (note:idc i still ordered it :D)

Can you make your own games with your PS4 ? Can you turn it into a weather station or a robot ? Does it have dozens of open source indie games ? Is it made in France ?
If you just want to play, spare your money and don't buy a PS4, just play games on the smartphone you're posting with. But hey, that not the same kind of fun.
Pricing might evolve.
Edit: I just checked, a PS4 is 300€ and each game is 50€ by the way.

"Can you make your own games with your PS4 ?" Uhm, yes. It's harder (a lot more that making a game for the gamebuino) but yes, you can. I agree that the price is ok for a console like that.

The price is a Kickstarter price for the console AND the services that Rodot will offer with the delivry of the console: tutorials, games, ... The price isn't a problem. You'll have cool games with, you'll be able to do your own if you have some ideas or modify the open source games. Or you like that and you buy one or you want just play and you have some very good chineese console with hundeds of games on them. It's a choice of goal of that you buy.
The PS4 is really another thing: you need a TV, you need some games (and a game can have the price of the META, but games are alot better: they result of works of very good teams who worked on it since months...)
It's like compare META and a bicycle. With price of some META you can buy a bicycle and it's alot better when you have to travel...
