,,You wake up in the cold castle tower...You don' remember how you get here. On the wall you see pieces of information. It is said, that every one hundred years a single man is selected by The Liche King to pass a deadly trial. To survive, the chosen one must learn the secrets of the magic - Ancient Lore..."

I am proud to present Ancient Lore - a new game for Gamebuino Meta. You are a lonely hero closed in the castle full of monsters. Your objectives:

  1. Find exit.
  2. Collect all Diamonds to unlock exit gate.
  3. Survive.

Game controls:

  • Arrows - move hero.
  • A, A+Right arrow,A+Left arrow - melee attack
  • B - magic attack
  • Select - pause menu

Gameplay:

You must explore each chamber in the castle to find Diamonds (required number is displayed in the lower right corner of the screen). Most of them will be guarded by monsters. To fight a monster, just stand near it and tap A to attack. Alternatively, if you have a lore charge (blue number in the lower right corner), tap B to fire magic attack (Each tap uses one charge). By this you can hurt or kill monster anywhere in the chamber. Monster white health bar and hero red health bar are located dow the screen.

Collectibles:

  • Diamonds - needed to open the gate.
  • Chalices - restore hero health.
  • Powers - adds 2 lore charges.

Secret rooms

Some monsters guard secret rooms. If you defeat them, the passage to the secret will be open. Inside you will find additional collectibles to complete your quest.

Beat your score

If you complete game once, you can improve your score (you can see actual results in the pause screen or in the score board from Main Menu). You receive points for:

  1. Defeating a monster - 50 points
  2. Revealing a secret room - 75 points
  3. Collecting Diamond - 10 points
  4. Using Lore charge - (-10 points)
  5. Using Chalice - (-1 point)
