It appears that bmp images can't be uploaded to the website.  Trying to upload one in a message gives the generic error "SOMETHING WENT WRONG.  PLEASE TRY AGAIN."  If trying to upload a bmp as a title image for a creation, it just looks like it's trying to upload forever.  I can upload png files just fine.

When I open this page with Firefox, I can't upvote the first few comments because the right-side column overflows and all mouse clicks go to it.

Btw, will it always be the same games listed under "So many GAMES !" ? I think it would be more interesting to random pick them.

If seem to have found some strange behaviors as well:

• Pic see above: I can not add anything to my collection (see error message), watch/unwatch typically does not work as well
• I do not find the create discussion button either, I can just add creations with the plus sign
• A very hideous bug for me is: when clicking on links leading to other pages of gamebuino.com, it seems that the language settings from the link creator define the language on the new page (i.e. I followed Auréliens link and landed on a french tut site) . This led me to think why half of the tutorials are french (especially essential ones like the https://gamebuino.com/academy/tutorials/images tutorial puzzled me to find only in french) just by happenstance I found out today that pressing the En/Fr button at the bottom not only changes the ui-language, but the language of the more official tutorials as well. (On the positive side, I now know that I haven't forgot everything from my french lessons at school ;) although still pretty slow at reading).
• Less a bug, more an annoying aspect is the strong limitation of posts/creations per page. If not supporting endless mode, maybe you want to add an option where I can set a higher number? It really makes the page more confusing than needed ;)

I assume that some of the issues above might be related to the fact, that I am using Firefox, not chrome...

I can't answer to all but i have some answers:

• Pic see above: I can not add anything to my collection (see error message), watch/unwatch typically does not work as well => It's due to new things in creations. Now you can add diectly a zip in the creation and then, you can add it to your favorites. If you try with Met'hanoï it's should works for example. But for oldiest creations this possiblity wasn't up and if the owner don't have modify it, you can't use this functionality and you can see it as the button is gray to show that it's unavailable.

• I do not find the create discussion button either, I can just add creations with the plus sign => Yes i don't remember if i had found it last time i searched it, but yes it's now creation by default and if the button to create a discussion is always up it i hard to find it... but it should be one of the thing you see the most on the community... I agree with you, its not normal
• A very hideous bug for me is: .... sure it's a bug as the translation exist, the page should be only shown in french if the translation don't exist ese if your preferences are set as English it should show it into english many site manage that so it's should not be so hard even it's easier to write it than to code it probably ;)  If a solid community from another langage was created and some translators accept to translate pages to another langage, it's could even be cool to propose this langage to user (when possible: when the page have been translated else english or french)
• Less a bug, more an annoying aspect is the strong limitation of posts/creations per page.  => I'm agree with that. Same the new Creation (See all) and News (See all) seems useless for me. Creations is already in the top menu, for me there is only News to add in the top menu...

btw, I found the Link again, which let me think that half the tutorials are in french: https://gamebuino.com/academy/reference/graphics-drawimage , there simply click on the image tutorial link.

Thanks for your report, I just updated the link. Putting fr or en in any URL has the effect of changing the language of the whole website. That's a known comportement we should improve, but do not hesitate to let us know when you see other link like that!

As for your other points :

- For now, you cannot add a game to your collection if the maker did not added a .bin. That's a new feature we are testing at the moment, be sure that we will improve it in the next weeks!

- We decided to disable the possibility to create discussion, to refocus discussions around creations.

- Good point about the endless mode, we will think about that

Thanks again, we are listening to any feedback. The website may evolve a lot in the next weeks, and we will improve all those functionalities! :)

A few more points which might be interesting:

• Creations:
  • when selecting utilities or tutorials i.e. on quality seal group, switching to done or in progress resets the value, I'd prefer keeping the setting
  • Atm there is no possibility to see all games or tutorials or utilities, no matter their group type. So if anyone does not know in which state his/her favorite game is, he/she has to click through all versions. especially for games that are not on the first page, but i.e. on page 2 or later, this means a lot of clicks before one finds a game. The collection feature is not (yet) a help on that point, since many games/tools do not support this, tutorials can not support that by definition, since there is typically nothing to download there.
  • On a creation page: atm the animated gifs are not moving. This is afaik a known issue anyway, but actually I'd prefer animated gifs to not move unless triggered, i.e. by clicking on it or mouse over. The reason for that is that if there are several animated gifs in the creation, the fast moving stuff is (imho) rather irritating if there are too many of them. Since the animated gifs provide an important preview aspect, I would not reduce the number of gifs, but solely play the currently interesting one.
• Reference:
  • although an important part of the academy, I'd prefer to give it an extra menu point on the main menu bar on top, since it is imho an essential, eh reference, for game developers ;)
  • If anyone has time: please explain a bit more there, especially the examples are sometimes not very helpful (i.e. soundfx). At least every parameter of a function should be explained.
  • Since documentation is very unpopular to maintain by practically any library developer (I understand that, but it is essential for library users ;) ), there might be a chance that someone in the community could help. Therefore I could think of two ways to improve the situation:
    • make the reference wiki-style (again)
    • allow tutorial creators to tag their tutorials in a way that it automatically is connected to a certain reference article. I.E. https://gamebuino.com/academy/reference/gb-sound-fx and https://gamebuino.com/creations/sound-fx-and-patterns (yes, I know by now that the second link is mentioned in the reference article, but this has to be done by one of the team staff, allowing the tutorial creator to tag it himself/herself reduces the workload for the team staff).

I see the site is being worked on, here are a few things I noticed:

Some links in the Casse-briques tutorial are dead, such as the Pong link (404). The link at the bottom which should take the user to the discussion page, leads instead to the tutorial page, which is why I couldn't report the broken link where most relevant.

Also, I noticed in the code a function that doesn't appear in the reference: gb.collide.rectRect(balleX, balleY, BALLE_TAILLE, BALLE_TAILLE, raquetteX, RAQUETTE_Y, RAQUETTE_LARGEUR, RAQUETTE_HAUTEUR)

Last, I would like to be able to browse the website without having to switch languages, I speak both and got a message today as I was browsing, telling me there was no content in my language (I don't remember what I was looking for sry). It would be cool to just tick the languages you speak and access all related content seemlessly.
