To fully exploit Andy's tip on his tutorial High resolution without gb.display, here is a small tool that will allow you to transcode your sprites and spritesheets in C++ in a format that is fully compatible with HD and the use of gb.tft. Thank you so much Andy!
This tool accepts PNG | GIF | JPG | BMP

I am not yet working on a project where I would need the higher resolution, but when I come to that point I will try this tool fo sure!
