I am re-making Reuben Quest - Lost Between Times for the Gamebuino META!
For those of you who don't know what that is, it is an RPG for TI calculators that you can find here.
It is a turn-based RPG taking place in some fantasy world.
Things done:
- Colorized sprites (thanks ericomont!)
- Movement Engine
- Script Engine
- All Items
- Some scripting
- Some battle engine calculations
- Some background music (thanks gouz and Valden!)
TODO:
- Finishing battle engine
- Colorizing enemy sprites
- Script all the story
- Stats menu
- Minimap
- Sound effects
- More background music
- Background neoPixels light effects
- Translations

Yes, files are 2MB max to avoid killing the server disks and client loading times. What you can do :
* Clean your GIF, it has lots of noise that increases the image size for no reason. Not sure where the noise comes from, maybe ffmpeg?
* Save your GIF as 16 colors indexed
* Shorten your GIF
* Make it a webm (still 2MB max)
* Upload it on YouTube and embed it

Awesome... Amazing... A new hope... :) Great sprites, movements... It's will become on of the referencial games for some times, i think.

This looks great! I played some of the calculator version a while back and it was really impressive for 83+ calculators. I stopped in the mountain caves, because there was a switch puzzle that required a lot of exploration, and enemies kept whittling down my health. I explored the central city and surrounding areas, too, but vaguely remember that the mountain caves were the next place to go to progress...

I imagine anyone who has access to the prototypes is currently working furiously to make sure there's a 'release library' of a few games for when the Meta comes out.
I think I remember playing this on the TI-83 (I think it was the 83) and sinking a few hours into it. it aught to be fun.
